SeeBS Update

Bill Ardolino interviews SeeBS employees for his INDC Journal about the latest SeeBS flap: the draft "story."

Reader's Digest version: Bill doesn't think there was any intentional bias in the story but has a number of significant points of contention with the SeeBSers...

10:45AM Update

My take: SeeBS has a responsibility to be objective. If their goal was to relieve the fears resulting from a debunked email, they should have said so.

The timing of this report is suspect when you consider the latest DNC and Kerry/Edwards talking points. Is it possible that SeeBS decided to run the story anyway? Sure. It is true that SeeBS indicated that both President Bush and Senator Kerry have indicated that they are not interested in instituting a draft, but by airing the story SeeBS reinforces a Kerry/Edwards talking point that just isn't based in reality. The bills calling for the draft, in both the Senate and the House, are sponsored and supported by liberal Democrats bent on eroding support for the war on terror. Did SeeBS mention this little factoid? Nope.

If the goal was to "debunk" the emails, SeeBS failed. If, on the other hand, the goal was to try to reinforce a talking point in order to gain traction against the President, SeeBS has proven themselves to be a fraudulant news organization that is a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.

SeeBS is not to be trusted.
