Schmidt v. "We the People"

Congressman Jean Schmidt announced Wednesday that she plans to introduce legislation to end the practice of anonymous, recorded phone calls with political messages.

Her legislation would require the callers to fully disclose who is paying for the call, and require groups to adhere to the "do not call" registry.

Rep. Schmidt wasn't the only target of this vicious ploy. The list is long. And the shame that Democrats will stoop to such levels is hardly apparent as most of the partisan press continues to ignore their tactics.

A cowardly tactic from a cowardly party with no ideas, no innovations, no solutions, no alternatives. All they have is secret sessions, secret memos, secret calls, and attempts to prevent their special interests from being revealed to the electorate (Ohio Issue 3).
