Since WMD is "turning into the semi-official GOP voice of Ohio" (and thanks for the praise, Bill!), I thought I'd take a moment to index the hot stories and update a few of the stories we've been covering lately...OH-02: Jean Schmidt has captured the endorsements of three county parties already.
Tom Brinkman has announced his candidacy amid rumors that Phil Heimlich may be getting out of the race.
OH-05: Bob Latta wins. Post game analysis here and here.
OH-18: Jeanette Moll made her candidacy official recently. She trails in the money race, but is a strong candidate. Fred Dailey's campaign may have the cash, but I'm not hearing any buzz. Paul Phillips is a veteran, but his campaign doesn't seem to advancing anywhere at the moment. OH-18 sources can feel free to email me...

35th District - Ohio House: Ron Maag recently announced his candidacy amid rumors that Eric Minamyer may be asked by local party officials to step aside. John Rabenhold still holds the money crown, but there is speculation that yet another name may be thrown in to this race soon...Phil Heimlich.
